Credit Disability and Credit Life Insurance now offered Effective August 1, 2011, ARC Credit Union is offering Member Pay Credit Disability Insurance and Member Pay Life Insurance for loans. When applying, ask us about the cost of each. Please contact us for more information. Life Savings Insurance Group Policy discontinued Effective July 31, 2011, we are canceling this insurance--the term life insurance which is provided at no direct cost to you on eligible savings deposits. If you are interested in purchasing member whole life insurance up to $2000, apply now and pay your first premium before August 31. Your coverage can be in effect on September 1, 2011. Please call CUNA Mutual Insurance Society at 1-877-636-2377 to find out about premiums. Member Alerts now available We have just added a new service called member alerts. You can be alerted to low balances in checking, 3rd party deposits and other good stuff! Give us a call or sign in to your internet banking site, look for "my account" on the home page and go from there. Mobile Banking Another new service we are working on. Call us in January and we'll tell you how we are doing. Serving Our Youth!! In 2010, our Zoogles Savings Club was offered to our younger members, ages 0-12. At the same time, we opened our Teen Club Savings account for youth ages 13-17. We will have coloring contests and other savings promotions for the young ones. Earn a ZooBuck for deposits of $5 or more when the child comes in. Collect enough ZooBucks and you can have a special prize. For our "older" youth, we'll have special gifts also. If the kids are not members, sign them up! We have special gifts for opening the accounts and we have created special new membership cards just for them. Lower Auto Rates We have reduced our rates for new or used cars for years 2012-2008 to only 3.99% APR when you have automatic payments and a 10% down payment. Autos for years 2007-2004 will receive a rate of 5.99% APR. For older cars and more details on terms, please call our office. Statements available through Home Banking You can now see your statement activity by going to our Home Banking page. Once logged in, you'll be able to see the same statement that we send you monthly (or quarterly). Click on the "Statement" link at the bottom and then click on the month you want/need. You can even print them out yourself. If you want us to stop mailing your statements because of this availability, please call us to "opt out" of our mailing list. Invest in America Campaign
GM has partnered with credit unions to give our members a better deal! You can get "Supplier Discounts" at GM because you are a credit union member. Go to LoveMyCreditUnion.org for more details. See the link on our home page. More than 270,000 cars have been sold. This campaign is continuing through 2012. Other partners have joined this program. Please click on the link for more details. Mechanical Repair Coverage through ARC If you have already bought a car and wish you had purchased a warranty repair service, give us a call. We are able to offer a Mechanical Repair Coverage policy through CUNA Mutual's Member Connect program. You tell them what coverage you want and can afford; they will create the policy for you. Normally, this coverage is much cheaper than your dealership--and coverage is recognized by repair shops. Call for more details. Refinance your auto loan with us If you have an auto loan with another financial institution, bring in your loan papers and title and we will see how we can save you some time and money! We may be able to reduce your payments and your interest rate. We can save you the time to stand in line or the cost of a postage stamp. The Board has declared a dividend on savings accounts for the 4th quarter 2011. All savings accounts will receive a .03% APY dividend. If you don't have a MasterCard debit card yet, call the office and we'll send you the necessary forms. If you meet our loan guidelines, we may issue an overdraft protection plan for your account. This card can be used in place of a check or can be used at ATM machines for cash withdrawals. AND, there are no monthly service fees. Need to Do Business on a Saturday? If you need to do your banking business on Saturday, please use the nearest Credit Union Family Service Center. For locations of Credit Union Family Service Centers and Shared Branch Outlets, please go to their website, www.CUServiceCenter.com. These centers are open 9 am to 7 pm Monday-Friday. They are also open Saturdays from 9 am to 2 pm for your convenience. When going to a Shared Branch Outlet, these hours will vary. If you are going out of town, call us and we'll try to see where surcharge-free ATM machines are located in your vacation area! The majority of 7-11 Stores now offer surcharge-free ATMs. Call us for details. Internet Home Banking Our Internet Home Banking product is available to all members. You need to be signed up before you can access the Internet Home Banking product. Once signed up, go to the Home Banking page, click on the link at the bottom and you are on your way. You will create a new PIN the first time you login. We continue to offer our audio response product, Touch Tone Teller. MasterCard Debit Cards MasterCard Debit Cards make it easy to access your share draft account! You will need to sign authorization papers so please contact Sue. All transactions using the debit card will be taken from your share draft account. All debit card applicants must meet certain credit guidelines and may receive an overdraft protection line of credit. Remember when you use your card to say "credit" and sign for the purchase. Otherwise, our system will consider it as an ATM withdrawal and you may be charged at month end. The first 4 ATM transactions are free. There is a $2 charge after 4 transactions when using your debit card or ATM card and your PIN. Call Sue or Fran for more details. Apply On-line and Get Some Bread!!
